I’m a reporter at Bloomberg based in New York City. I cover companies in financial distress that are working with creditors and advisers to restructure their debt. Previously, I covered the New York real estate market for The Real Deal. My journalism career began at my college newspaper during my undergraduate degree in Montreal, Quebec. I reported on news related to campus life as well as city and provincial events, notably the 2012 student protests against tuition fee hikes, known as the Maple Spring. At McGill University, my studies focused on politics and Middle Eastern history. I received my master’s degree at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism where my coursework focused on narrative nonfiction writing.
